Reading the word of God and spending a few moments in prayer early in the morning has been such a blessing as Mary leads. I believe her inspiration is infectious as often she begins an episode with a short prayer for others and their specific needs before moving to scripture and reading a chapter or two, or a portion, before praying and highlighting the scripture in our lives today. What a great blessing listening to Mary. When I miss a day, I'm always willing to back up to not miss a day. I appreciate she alternates the Old and New Testament. Often her prayers resonate with something sitting within my heart-I believe that is the Holy Spirit at work through Pray Every Day!!
