If you’re looking for somewhat objective political journalism from this show, that ship has sailed. If you want to hear the official government line going unchallenged, by all means listen to this show, and then please stay home on Election Day.
it’s obvious they are not reporting beyond the actual facts. make it seem like some characteristics of authoritarianism is okay. “it’s trump he can get away with it.” so much for free press. i lost my respect for politico.
While I understand and respect journalistic objectivity and the effort to present a balanced point of view, this show recurrently fails to name the (obvious, and terrifying) rise of authoritarianism in this country. Re: Kimmel, I truly do not understand Megan talking about freedom of speech as if it is one party’s set of “beliefs,” rather than a Constitutional right.
It’s gotten worse week after week. I don’t know any right wingers who listen to this show but the overt pandering to them has gotten really old.
Maybe things will improve in three years when we wake up from the most recent Trump coma.
