This podcast used to be the best! Useful, honest and thoughtful. And now it’s just a celebration of the Trump Admin. Dasha is mostly fine and I still sometimes enjoy the Politico journalists but the new host is awful.
The amount of awkward laughter on this podcast as they report serious political news makes it unbearable at times to listen. And I’m doing my best to ignore the political bias that has taken place since 2024. I thought the laughter would stop once the previous host left, but they seemed to have doubled down on it with both hosts doing it now. It’s cringe.
What was once a valuable roundup of news has now devolved into an embarrassing smear of third rate and tone deaf wannabe punditry. But that’s the world we all live in now.
The Kennedy Center was a living memorial to a great predident. To put Trumps name on it and to leave his name on it is a disgrace, and normalizes a lack of human decency.
