I love this show, but it is very frustrating when the hosts will, at times, insert their own opinions and then attempt to frame them as a question in a effort to force a response from the guest. I’m all about hardball questions, but I would prefer it if there was less editorializing on the part of the hosts.
If you want to know something about anything that happened between 2012 and today, which coincidentally was an extremely turbulent, politically fraught, and interesting period for our state…it’s almost certainly covered here.
Loved your show with Tara Peters! Great questions!
Love your podcast!
I wonder if I could suggest that you interview Randi McCallian candidate for the 8 Congressional District by (Jason Smith?
She’s amazing, I had her on my small podcast and just hope she could come on yours for a bigger audience!?😁
Of course I like my own podcast

A sharp, issue-driven exchanges on Missouri and regional politics, with frequent guests ranging from lawmakers and policymakers to academics and activists. Episodes tend to balance deep policy analysis (tax reform, education funding, redistricting) with real-world impacts on governance and elections, and they commonly feature perspectives from both parties, labor, and local government officials. A standout feature is the consistent emphasis on process, governance, and map-related debates, plus occasional examinations of ballot measures and grassroots organizing. This mix makes it useful for listeners who want clear, informed takes on state and regional politics, with access to a wide network of local and national voices.
