Julie. Please keep casting. I’m up in Dallas and your podcast has been so amazing for my gardening journey as well as my nighttime routine. Julie has an amazing radio voice and a cadence that keeps you listening. No droning on and on, no monotony, so much valuable intel and perspective. My only complaint is the intro/exit music is way too loud and aggressive. But I’ll deal as long as I can keep listening to Julie.
I’ve created a serious obsession with this podcast. Easy to understand, no fluff, no commercials. Goes deep into different subjects but not overly scientific.
To someone who was a good gardener on the east coast, but complete failure with TX soil and weather…every episode is gold.
Love it and thank you for creating this space.
I feel as if I’m listening to a friend! So much nicer than being preached at by other gardening gurus (who tend to scold and never admit to their own failings). Julie is knowledgable and encouraging and funny. I particularly loved the tomato guerrilla gardening episode. I live in Louisiana which has similar miserable summers so her advice is apt and welcome.
Love to hear episodes in the mornings, and putting in action Julie’s tips for Gardening. A++
I was never good at gardening and I may or may not have killed my fair share of greenery over the years. Dead plants littered my home and yard, and even cactus gardens were doomed until a friend recommended this show. Plow & Hose episodes are entertaining, enlightening and informative and have helped to turn my brown thumb green. I have my first hibiscus tree blooming right now and I’m super stoked to see it thrive. Can’t wait for the next show!!
