  • A joy to listen to and learn from

This is my favourite gardening podcast. The hosts have such a great rapport and you can tell they have fun recording it. The information is informative, accessible, and grounded in science. There’s a great balance of vegetable, flower, plant, and tree information. Highly recommended.

  • Lost me on iceplant

You all completely lost me on the timing episode. I found it incredibly disingenuous to use the scientific name for iceplant and recommend it to people without using the common name to duck any sort of accountability on this. This is an incredibly invasive species. You are actively harming the environment and listeners if you do not at the very least acknowledge this. On the shoreline “managing” this plant is an impossible task because of the moisture. I just unfollowed.

  • Good podcast

Generally a decent amount of useful information. Too much focus on hydrangeas, almost every episode. The recurrent Limericks aren't at all funny, but fortunately the hosts aren't annoying like the hosts of the Fine Gardening podcast.

  • We know

It's Proven Winner Color Choice Shrubs. This is a Marketing Poscast. PW has dominated the market. If the hosts did not have to repeat Proven Winner Color Choice Shrubs every 30 seconds it would be an amazing educational and informative show to complement the products.
