This gardening podcast covers different facets of gardening for both wildlife and humans. It’s well focused: it is not rambling and undisciplined as some podcasts can be, and is consistently interesting and entertaining.

  • I love the idea of this podcast

I love gardening, but it’s hard to find good places for things like pollinators and other plants 🌱 And I can’t move since houses are so expensive right now.

  • Seemingly Some Interesting Guests, but …

… the host fails to mine the knowledge of her guests. I commend Margaret for producing a weekly garden show, but time and time again, I grow frustrated with her inability to derive information from her guests. As somebody who has listened to interviewers - both good and bad - with a keen ear for well over 55 years, the good ones are generally prepared with a concise line of topics they wish to cover and an equally succinct list of questions (which I fully appreciate can sometimes be discarded ... more

  • Always informative

Been listening for a few years now, and I always enjoy the topics Margaret covers while hosting a wide range of guests! The material covers gardening expertise as well as up to date research or technology which I appreciate. Margaret weaves her own experience and knowledge into the episodes, and asks excellent questions, never taking away from the guest, but makes the show more enjoyable and relatable. Thanks Margaret for discussing ethical and responsible gardening, while keeping it light! Love... more

  • My favorite podcast

This is my absolute favorite podcast! I love when Ken Druse is on. Please please do a episode about hedges. I’m trying to create “rooms of gardens in my yard and only heard once the birds are attracted to holly. I’m just wondering if there is any other great hedges. I’m wanting to attract birds and pollinators. I have a stumpery area that is buzzing with bees, just want to know more. Thank you. I absolutely love your show
