Two of the best things in life, baseball and movies, are discussed by two of the most knowledgeable and fun commentators. You just can’t go wrong with this series. You will laugh, learn a lot, enjoy the banter, and have one hell of a delightful time.
These guys are a friggin’ delight! Charismatic, funny and heartfelt, their genuine love for cinema and, of course, baseball come through every episode. As a movie buff, I gave them a listen on a whim (despite genuinely not caring about America’s pastime in the least) and low and behold, by the end of the season I found myself lining up a slew of baseball movies to watch at their urging. The way Andrew and Paul weave between dramatic, comedy and downright awful movies with such finesse is a treat... more
This podcast is funny, richly researched, and a real exploration of familiar mainstream films as well as less known art house ones, and even a few that should never have been made but allow for hilarious podcast commentary. Looking forward to season two!
Andy and Paul's passion for the sport comes through every second as they humoroursly dissect each movie and our national pastime. Their chemistry is evident and you feel like you want to sit down at a bar with them and join the conversation. If you love baseball, movies, or especially both, subscribe to this podcast.
I'm not a huge sports fan but I do like some baseball movies. This podcast gives great, funny, informative, smart analysis and it's a blast to listen to.
If you like baseball - and you like movies (guilty, guilty) then you're seriously going to love this podcast. It's the fun of watching a film but with all the little trivia facts you didn't know you NEEDED to know tossed in. The best part is that Andrew and Paul have that Psych/Scrubs/Jon Snow + Ghost kind of chemistry that makes them delightful to listen to - plus for two dudes, they are surprisingly female-forward and always looking out for broader opinions. Listen!!
Two of the best ways to spend ANY evening: baseball and movies?!? Yes please! Andy and Paul are hilarious and knowledgeable. Subscribed.
