All the shows and hosts are great, except Keith Law. He’s condescending and more likely criticizing something or someone than he is providing any analysis. I’ve listened to them all from the very beginning, but have finally had enough of him and will be skipping his from now on. Any chance Jim Callis could replace him?
Starkville is great, mailbag is great, DVR & Law is very good, but 3-0 & The Round Table are usually unlistenable. Too snarky. Hosts seem more about their own brand propositions than anything related to baseball. more
I listen to a lot of baseball talk during the season, and the Roundtable is far and away my favorite general baseball show out there. Just the platonic ideal of guys bein dudes talkin ball. Great chemistry with the three hosts. Please bring it back next year!
I feel like I have a better understanding of baseball when I listen to every show, except for the Roundtable.
Overall I like the show though at times it’s a bit self-congratulatory. You’re sports writers, you’re not that great, but thanks for your service. Please don’t lick the athlete’s boots, they don’t need any more spit shine. And another strike against you: you are funded by the business of gambling which is morally bankrupt and biblically evil.
