I thoroughly enjoy the podcast. I have difficulty on the mental side of the game. Tony has talked about how to be a better partner and how to handle adversity on the court in a more beneficial way. I have received formal coaching which has helped me jump up to about a 4.3 player but improving my mental game is what I feel can get me closer to the 4.5 level.
I have signed up for your clinic in Clifton Park, NY and I look forward to meeting and learning from you.
Thank you so much for this podcast. I recently discovered it and am binging. Today I had a difficult MLP loss and this podcast has been helping me process it. This is all so much bigger than ourselves. I have really enjoyed the guest speakers as well. Even though we had a tough loss, I do remember saying to myself during our tournament, “Pickleball is like ice cream.” Grateful to have the ice cream.
Great podcast that puts things into perspective so that you can play great Pickleball! Thank you Tony
I love Tony’s approach to the game and our relationship to the game. If that phrase doesn’t make sense, try a few podcasts and let Tony unpack that concept for you!
Really good for the mental game. And , we all love ice-cream. So helpful.

Across episodes, listeners hear strategies for managing internal dialogue, dialing in intensity, and maintaining perspective during tournaments, while also exploring the social and community aspects of the sport. The format often includes concrete frameworks, personal anecdotes from events, and calls to engage with camps, coaching, and community initiatives, making it helpful for players at all levels seeking mental-edge approaches and a positive m... more
