  • Of course they have to start with the Trump bashing.

Let’s talk about bow hunting. Of course you have to bash Trump. Enough. Stay in your lane. Trump is done way more for hunters and conservation in this country than Biden ever did. Not to mention the mess that Obama created. If I could give this a zero star I would.

  • The host is a goofball

Whoever the host is he’s a complete goof. When he asked Darrin why he shot Elite he doesn’t realize that he’s employed by The Outdoor Group, and he had no idea who Aaron was.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Shoot Better by Shooting Farther: Spot Hogg's PRIZ System
Q: What is the core benefit for a hunter considering this system, beyond just longer distances?
The core benefit is longer, more confident practice distances that translate into real-world accuracy without sacrificing hunting setup, enabling a consistent aiming point and safer, more ethical shots.
Shoot Better by Shooting Farther: Spot Hogg's PRIZ System
Q: How much additional yardage are we generally seeing with a typical setup across different shooters?
Most users report about 28-36 yards of extra reach depending on bow speed and peep height, with the improvement driven by raising the pee tube and image shift rather than magnification.
Shoot Better by Shooting Farther: Spot Hogg's PRIZ System
Q: Are you in the process of checking regs or is it up to each state to decide legality for Priz and Roadie?
There are gray areas where some states specify no lens; regulatory decisions will largely depend on state game laws, but Spot Hogg is hopeful that the device will be treated as a non-magnifying aid and regulated consistently as a hunting accessory.
Paige Pearce on Mental Training for Bowhunters
Q: Is this only for archery or can it help in other aspects of life?
Paige argues the methods apply broadly, with examples like job interviews and everyday stress, emphasizing that the core principle—visualization and positive self-talk—transfers to many areas of life beyond archery.
Paige Pearce on Mental Training for Bowhunters
Q: How does your program actually work and what makes it effective?
The program combines visualization, daily affirmations, and guided subconscious reprogramming with binaural beats to create theta brainwave states, enabling the subconscious to accept positive, outcome-focused guidance more deeply and quickly.
