I enjoyed the narration, and this is one of my favourite books, but unfortunately it was missing some chapters and others were duplicated. Luckily, I know the book well, but it would be much better if this was fixed.

This is an excellent reading, but there are a few chapters either mislabeled or omitted. There are two or three doubled chapters under different numbers. It’s not hard to figure out and it doesn’t feel like your missing the plot generally, so it doesn’t significantly affect the bulk of the story. The reading is done very well in a pleasantly animated way that keeps your interest throughout.

This is such a lovely, enjoyable reading of Persuasion and I wish I could give it 5 stars. However, I’m on chapter 17 and already two chapters have been skipped, and two have been repeated. (Chapter 9 is skipped, chapter 10 plays twice; the same sort of thing happens around chapters 16 and 17.)
It’s quite frustrating. I hope this can be fixed!

Of the 2 versions I tried on this app for this book, I, personally, found this the better one. You know when you’re listening to an audiobook, and you can’t enjoy the book because of the voice of the reader? I had that problem with the first audio I tried, and this solves it. The reader does good voices, which are really helpful (cause sometimes in Jane Austen, you can’t tell who’s speaking even when you’re reading the actual book), and all in all does a fabulous job.
