  • Tarot Episode

I’m an INFJ who has enjoyed tarot—especially in times of anxiety—for a few years, and I absolutely loved your tarot episode. Antonia did an AMAZING job presenting a brief but insightful view of the deck and its interpretations. Also, she seemed to have fun with it! It’s a pleasure to see how open we are to new perspectives when we approach through play. Thanks so much for this episode. I hope we might see more tarot material from you all in the future.

  • Long Time Long Time

I’ve been following Antonia and Joel Mark since 2014 or so. I have used their material in personal development, group and community development, hypothetical understanding during counseling sessions, multiple and varying church applications (good luck), and have never been left wanting. In a world vying for every second of your time, it will not be wasted here.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

When Accuracy Plays Tricks - Hero vs Trickster Introverted Thinking | Podcast 641
Q: What is the difference between dominant TI and trickster TI, and how can you tell when someone is using TI as a trickster rather than a driver?
Dominant TI (hero) seeks internal and interoperable logical consistency and accuracy, wants to pin down premises, and aims for clear, truth-seeking reasoning. Trickster TI, however, uses logic to evade, expose contradictions, create double binds, and resist being constrained by others' premises, often moving goalposts and employing selective skepticism.
When Intuition Becomes a Superiority Complex | Podcast 640
Q: Is the perception of intuitive superiority a common phenomenon, and what can be done to help people understand one another better?
Intuitives often feel superior because they've been misjudged or undervalued, but the remedy is to normalize all functions, promote humility, and encourage skill-building with intuition so it becomes a tool rather than a badge. The goal is to acknowledge both sides, integrate the intuition with sensing, and recognize that growth comes from improving oneself rather than ranking others.
Is Personality Type a Box or a Tool? | Podcast 639
Q: How can I help skeptics understand that personality type is a tool rather than a box?
Lead with examples of real changes in your life, demonstrate the concepts through hands-on tools like the card deck, and invite people to try it themselves rather than just listening to explanations.
INTJ vs INTP - Clearing Up Personality Type Confusion & Listener Q&A | Podcast 634
Q: Hi, my name is Danica. I'm an ENTJ and I'm curious about which type inferior stress grip I'm in, since therapy brought up inner conflicts. How can I tell whether my inferior function stress grip aligns with ENTJ dynamics or perhaps reveals another related type?
The hosts emphasize that inferiors and shadows can blur type boundaries and that stress grips are better understood through the three-year-old or inferior function's qualitative uncertainty rather than rigid labels. For ENTJs, distress often centers on doubts about projecting intent or humanity in leadership contexts, and exploring this with therapy can help identify if the struggle is with extroverted feeling (harmony) or introverted feeling, guiding them toward recognizing whether the stress grip reflects ENTJ dynamics or touches a nearby type like ISFP in the shadow.
INTJ vs INTP - Clearing Up Personality Type Confusion & Listener Q&A | Podcast 634
Q: Hi Joel and Antonia. My name is Caleb and I am an INTP from Des Moines, Iowa. My question for you is, how can an INTP tell the difference between INTP and INTJ?
Caleb is exploring how introverted thinking and extroverted intuition can resemble introverted intuition (perspectives) in practice. The hosts explain that the distinction lies in whether the internal cognitive map is primarily about constructing and testing models (INTP) versus using long-range, future-oriented framing to plan and decide (INTJ). Look for whether the person is primarily evaluating premises and building systems (INTP) or prioritizing未来-oriented framing to synthesize possibilities into probable outcomes (INTJ).
