  • A Great Show

Agi is a fabulous host who has clearly taken great care to create a show that genuinely serves his audience. He creates a warm, spacious conversation, then asks the kind of thoughtful questions that draw out new answers and possibilities rather than rehearsed responses. That makes the experience valuable not only for the guest, but especially for the listener. I have deep respect for the way he crafts his show, and great affection for the warm, funny and generous host he is.

  • Goes beyond the surface level personal development advice

I enjoy listening to Agi’s podcast because he has experts on various topics on the show who share vulnerably about their journeys.

Through that you see (hear) the person behind the success story and receive your own little nugget of wisdom.

Why High Achievers Feel Empty Inside and How Fear Secretly Runs Your Life, with Former Google Sales Leader Chris Woods | #616
Q: What is Balls and Brains, and who is it for?
The book is designed to help younger men confront fear and maximize strengths, offering practical steps that don't require therapy, and encouraging readers to move from grinding to aligning with their true purpose.
Why High Achievers Feel Empty Inside and How Fear Secretly Runs Your Life, with Former Google Sales Leader Chris Woods | #616
Q: Are they driven by fear, and how can someone clarify that for themselves?
Fear shapes patterns unconsciously; the host and guest discuss a framework like asking who you would be without your concerns and journaling the answers to reveal a North Star that guides your strengths and daily actions.
Why High Achievers Feel Empty Inside and How Fear Secretly Runs Your Life, with Former Google Sales Leader Chris Woods | #616
Q: Before the health crisis, how did that period feel from the inside?
It felt high-pressured and driven by a deep need to achieve, with an undercurrent of a personal reminder about mortality that pushed me to overachieve and live as if building an obituary rather than a life.
Why Smart People Struggle With Decisions and How to Make Grounded Choices Without Needing All the Answers, with Lindsay Little | #612
Q: What is the role of breath in increasing body awareness for decision making?
Breath acts as a direct access point to the body; observing the breath, especially the exhale, helps soften tension, reveal bodily signals, and interrupt mental storytelling that can derail a decision.
Why Smart People Struggle With Decisions and How to Make Grounded Choices Without Needing All the Answers, with Lindsay Little | #612
Q: Can you share a simple practice listeners can implement to bring more body signals into daily decision-making?
Slow down deliberately, practice mindful breathing, and use sensory experiences (like a calm walk noticing wind, sounds, and touch) to ground attention in the present moment before deciding.
