  • So much fun! Great questions!

My “story” often pulls hosts into my past, and I’ve been wanting to talk about achieving the “future” in the “now.” Agi gave me the platform to do this and I couldn’t be more thrilled! I had such a great experience sharing ideas with him, having him ask me thought-provoking questions, and summarizing everything beautifully! Super great host. I’d go on his podcast again in a heartbeat!

The Success Trap That Leaves You Drained Instead of Fulfilled, with Lee Benson | #596
Q: What practical steps can someone take to improve their emotional energy and overall fulfillment in the near term?
Adopt a simple self‑care regimen (nutrition, sleep, movement), manage self‑talk, build supportive routines, and actively cultivate environments that raise energy and enable others to grow; this creates momentum toward bigger value creation.
The Success Trap That Leaves You Drained Instead of Fulfilled, with Lee Benson | #596
Q: You've built a career around pursuit of wealth and later shifted toward fulfillment; what would you tell someone midlife feeling unfulfilled after achieving traditional success?
Recognize that fulfillment comes from balancing material needs with emotional energy and connectedness; build a personal value‑creation framework that scales from self‑care to family culture to broader communities, and pursue work that continually creates value in the world.
Why Success Doesn’t Feel Good Anymore in Midlife, with Kate Kayaian | #598
Q: What is the most practical way to begin redefining one's identity when the old role still feels familiar and safe?
Begin by creating distance from the old identity, then redefine by exploring what else is possible, and finally take small, deliberate actions that embody the new role to make the transition tangible rather than theoretical.
Why Success Doesn’t Feel Good Anymore in Midlife, with Kate Kayaian | #598
Q: Kate, for someone listening now, what is something they can do tomorrow to start creating a better next chapter?
Start with a simple exercise: imagine your future self who has already achieved what you want, list what they did differently, and then identify one tiny, concrete step you can take the next day, such as waking up 30 minutes earlier or writing a short story about a meaningful person to author a new chapter.
The Communication Mistake Most People Don’t Realise They’re Making and What to Do Instead, with Aurora Winter | #594
Q: How do you keep the focus on the listener rather than blasting product features?
She outlines a three-step neuroscience framework: grab attention with a quick, snappy message; establish social proof; and pass the sniff test through status and credibility before delivering deeper content.
