  • The podcast that started it all

The Peptide of The Week podcast completely changed the way I think about my health. Listening to the podcast sparked my curiosity and inspired me to start researching and learning- not just about peptides, but about how the body works, how lifestyle impacts health, and how we can support our bodies to function at their best.

What I appreciate most is that the hosts make complex topics easy to understand without oversimplifying them. They present the science in a way that feels down-to-earth, pr... more

  • Likeable guys but you can find better

There are like, I don’t know, 10 folks in this space worth listening to. These guys are above average and the people who submit questions are often smooth brained who would likely benefit from shortening their stacks and reading a cell biology text book. I applaud them for their success and consistency.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Peptide Q&A #58 – Shelf Life, Drug Test, HGH vs IGF-1 LR3 & Carnivore Diet
Q: Should I run IGF-1 LR3 with HGH, or start with HGH first?
HGH is considered the foundational choice for many trying to grow muscle; starting with HGH and then adding IGF-1 LR3 later is suggested by some, due to potential insulin and blood sugar considerations with IGF-1 LR3.
Peptide Q&A #58 – Shelf Life, Drug Test, HGH vs IGF-1 LR3 & Carnivore Diet
Q: Can peptides trigger a drug test?
No peptides themselves are unlikely to cause a positive drug test; tests look for metabolites, and while specialized tests exist for certain substances, typical peptide therapies do not show up on standard panels.
Peptide Q&A #58 – Shelf Life, Drug Test, HGH vs IGF-1 LR3 & Carnivore Diet
Q: What is the storage guidance for lyophilized peptides and how long do they last?
Lyophilized peptides can last about two years if stored in dark, cool conditions with water excluded; light and moisture are the primary risks to degradation, and you should avoid freezing or rapid thawing.
Peptide Q&A #56 – SS-31 Deep Dive, Fertility on TRT & Building Muscle
Q: What is the recommended order for introducing Ss-31, Mots-C, and NAD in a mitochondrial reboot plan?
Start with Ss-31 to solidify mitochondrial energy pathways, then consider adding Mots-C if you need more engine rev, and NAD later if appropriate, while monitoring response and avoiding overwhelming the system.
Peptide of the Week: What's Really in Your Water – With Dani Carroll
Q: What should a listener consider when choosing between tap and bottled water?
Evaluate your local water quality (via sources like the EWG database), recognize that many bottled waters are essentially tap water, and decide on a filtration + remineralization strategy that fits your home setup and health needs.
