  • Great science - too much guy talk

The content on peptides, NAD, and health science is genuinely interesting and valuable — it’s exactly why I tuned in and I’ve learned useful info from it.

That said, I’m not interested in the hosts’ personal lives or random chit-chat, which takes up nearly half the runtime. Less banter and more focused substance would make this a 5-star show.

Hoping for tighter, denser episodes ahead.

  • Love the Q&A’s

Great show, informative, honest, helps keep me up to date in the peptide world. More guests would be great. Maybe athletes from different sports sharing the experience and knowledge. Only complaint, please fix the audio. Super quiet podcast, at 80% volume with my AirPods, ears get blasted by the commercials.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Peptide Q&A #44 – Cloudy Peptides, Histamine Reactions, Sleep Stack & Stacking Mistakes
Q: Is Modafinil safe to use and how should it be dosed given it is a prescription drug?
Modafinil is a prescription drug used to promote wakefulness; it can be effective for focus if used correctly, typically not ideal for nighttime use, and should be used sparingly to avoid dependence; users should follow medical guidance.
Peptide Q&A #43 – Mitochondrial Stack Order, Sleep & Cortisol, Bone Density & Body Recomposition
Q: What's the best HGH secretagogues combo for fat loss and why might one avoid combining with exogenous HGH?
The hosts favor Tessamorelin and Ipamorelin for fat burning and synergy, but warn against combining exogenous HGH with secretagogues because the pituitary may reduce natural HGH production; if exogenous HGH is already being used, the secretagogues may have limited added benefit for growth but can still aid fat loss.
Peptide Q&A #43 – Mitochondrial Stack Order, Sleep & Cortisol, Bone Density & Body Recomposition
Q: Hi, I'm a 33-year-old female. Am I doing the right stack and what should I change when phasing out Triseptide for Retta?
The hosts suggest maintaining a balance: consider transitioning gradually by replacing milligram-for-milligram doses, favoring a slow, planned swap, and ensuring maintenance doses for skin, inflammation, and energy while watching for side effects like anxiety. They emphasize foundational elements (sleep, protein, resistance training) as the base before ramping the peptide stack.
Peptide of the Week: Are Your Peptides Real? With Peter Magic of Janoshik
Q: Peter, really quickly for the people that don't know who you are, in your own words, tell us who you are or what you do.
I'm Peter Magic, owner of Janoshik Ltd, a company focused on analytical chemistry that tests mostly hormonal substances and peptides; we started by testing performance-enhancing drugs and the first peptides, and over time have grown into a large lab with extensive capabilities.
Peptide Q&A #42 – Starting in Peptides, Peptides for dogs, Skin Pigment Changes & Type 1 Diabetes
Q: A friend with type 1 diabetes asks about starting peptides and safety around glucose management.
The response emphasizes caution with secretagogues and GLP-1s due to unpredictable effects on blood sugar in type 1 diabetes, recommending careful monitoring and considering non-glucose-altering approaches; suggest consulting with a medical professional and starting with lower-risk options while monitoring glucose closely.
