  • Right to the science. Slight left bend as far as choice of what to report on but, it just reports facts. Appreciate having objectivity in a world fighting so hard against truth and facts.

  • One of the very few instances in which Kaku gets interviewed about a subject in which he has expertise. Of course, he just had to plagiarize Richard Feynman with his chess explanation. Hey! Credit were credit is due, buddy!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

New proposal would give Trump officials more control over scientific research grants
Q: What do you make about the argument that the administration is simply choosing to stress certain research priorities and eliminate waste?
The guest argues that framing the changes as just prioritizing research goals ignores the deeper problem of appointing individuals without subject-matter expertise to decide scientific outcomes, which could lead to biased funding and a reluctance to fund important but politically sensitive areas.
New proposal would give Trump officials more control over scientific research grants
Q: Why is this so troubling to you?
The guest explains that letting political appointees determine grant funding risks displacing long-standing scientific judgment, eroding peer review, and compromising the integrity and credibility of the science enterprise, especially on critical issues like climate and health.
Exploring the questions surrounding UAPs and the search for extraterrestrial life
Q: How should society handle potential proof of non-human intelligence?
If there is evidence, it should be shared with the public and evaluated by scientists, acknowledging possible societal impacts while pursuing transparent, science-led inquiry.
Exploring the questions surrounding UAPs and the search for extraterrestrial life
Q: According to your reporting, what do we know about these UAPs and what does the government know?
There are documented observations and videos showing extraordinary capabilities that we do not yet understand, with much of the data classified; the phenomenon has persisted for decades and remains an open mystery.
Pope Leo warns AI should be 'disarmed' in manifesto on potential dangers
Q: Why invite Ola to the Vatican to speak about the encyclical?
Ola is brought in for his firsthand industry perspective and his willingness to engage with ethics, illustrating how AI actors can participate constructively in moral debates rather than simply critique from the outside.
