The Newshour itself is pretty reliably good quality - but ever since Capehart replaced Shields, this segment has been nothing short of painful
He doesn't seem to think about what he's saying before his mouth opens, resulting in constant word salad
There were multiple people (including women!) who filled the leftist spot before Capehart got it
Please please at least ROTATE the panel, if not replace Capehart outright

Jonathan was noticeably silent after David rightly bashed Bezos and the WashPo for bending its knee for Trump
This usually worthwhile pod allowed a really embarrassing thing to be said last week. The National Environmental Policy. Act, a landmark but often bureaucratically oppressive law, is called “knee-pah” by the 100s of thousands - if not millions - of people who participate in it. A long “E”.
