These hosts sound like great people and I'm only writing this because I genuinely would like to see the show improve.
If the podcast is intended to function as an in-depth analysis of Bojack Horseman, what I feel would help is if the hosts mix a little objectivity and philosophy into their discussions. Bojack is a show that has strived to show us a deterministic view of humanity (and animals maybe?), and yet the podcast tends to forget this whenever a character does something they don't approv... more
April needs to stop saying “Like” for the 1,000 times
This podcast would be a good, thoughtful, discussion and analysis of the show if it weren’t for the horribly negative female cohost Sam. She is insufferably contrary and all of her attempts at humor fall flat and sound like a Bojack characature of a whiny millennial comic.
Ditch this chick and your podcast will become listenable.
It’s really great to find a podcast talking about a pretty unpopular show. I really like it but I don’t really enjoy that everyone acts like as if the show having a progressive message makes it better in quality. It’s my favourite show and I agree with most of the messages but that doesn’t make the quality of the episodes better.
Appreciate everyone's opinions on this, the podcast is very engaging. I like the fact you go episode by episode and really dig into the show.
I don't understand why you would devote so much time to create a podcast if you are just going to be negative the whole time and complain about every aspect. No one is making you record a podcast. At least I hope not. If I accidentally stumbled upon some sort of podcasting slavery enterprise, I'm sorry, and good luck.
Thank you for breaking down the great how that is Bojack as well as you do. Just found this after I finished my binge but I'm gonna listen to all of them now!
I just watched episode Ruthie of Bojack Horseman and was looking for a podcast to help me think through the ending.
This podcast was not good. They don't know how to, like, speak good.
It take a lot of hard work to produce a episode-by-episode analysis podcast of a Netflix show. It is my favorite Bojack podcast.
