  • Great podcast

Update: 1 year into listening and I still love this podcast so much! I’ve learned a lot about parenting a hockey player.

Talent will come with practice, but I agree that it’s import... more

  • Monday Morning Coaching

This is an excellent discussion. I wish I could send this out to all the parents on my sons team, but as the wife of one of the assistant coaches, it might not go over so well. 🤣

The Ride to the Rink: Zechariah Thomas of Swift Hockey on Why Your Hockey Stick Doesn’t Make You Better — You Do
Q: So Zech, talk to me a little about how you select gear and how kids should think about spending their parents' money.
Zech explains he was a gear nerd growing up and that the best players use sticks that are older; the key is finding a stick that works for you and staying consistent with that choice rather than chasing brand or flashy graphics.
