Trying to navigate the youth hockey landscape? We have seen it all and done it all. Our experiences include the top prep school in the nation down to the dirtiest rink in Southern California. One thing has become clear. It's better to have a bit of a roadmap and a shoulder to cry on when everything heads south. We are optimistic, ebullient, and sharp as a rusty old skate that's seen too many ponds... more

What do you do when your local rink closes? Is it time to move? I'm joking of course, but many parents have been through this. Right now it is happening in the Valley at a rink both of my sons played for. They almost closed my home rink during Covid.... more

Is there anything more sad than a family wandering around a rink without purpose? That's what happens my friends when the kids grow up. It's sometimes harrowing, but it does give the whole community some perspective on what it is like to step away fr... more

I had left a msg here in the past and had to deleted it in order to post another msg, wish I had kept it up.

  • Very informative

It’s amazing how on point some of these topics are to actual issues we are currently facing. Some of the other hockey podcasts are too serious and can be stressful to listen to, but you guys are down to Earth and have a good dynamic. Keep up the great work!

I've taken my oldest skating since he was 3 really focusing on skating....I've heard horror stories of parents being to competitive or being knuckle heads in the stands yelling at referees, parents getting a little to tipsy after ... more
