Hi Sophia - we had our son’s cognitive assessment done by Dr Cumner, due to hearing her on your podcast and she is one in a million. A huge thank you for having her on your show, she is such a valuable resource for any gifted or neurospicy family! Definitely some great tips here for our family and managing executive function.
Thank you so much for shining a light on this topic. It has been such a challenging few years for us navigating a school that has no interest in supporting our child and his needs. I feel so much better after listening to this - knowing that our experience is shared, and that our decision to move schools is the right one. more

As the mom of two gifted kids, they’ve been challenging since birth. And not always in a good way. My son had school refusal at age 8, was expelled out of another school; both kids have struggled with anxiety, perfectionism and low self esteem. When people congratulate me on having gifted kids, I tell them that giftedness is no gift. more
I really enjoy listening to this podcast. They present a variety of topics to help parents understand giftedness and include helpful tips and resources for further information.
