I really appreciate this podcast and how honestly Mark and his friends share. It’s reflective and introspectiveness is refreshing. The only thing I’d wish for more of is Laina’s story! I could tell she had so much more to say and I would love to hear more of her perspective, and other women’s, too!
I’d love to hear a woman’s perspective of what it was like in the “one right Church “

This show explores the dynamics of groups that claim a sole path to faith, often challenging insular beliefs, leadership structures, and the psychology behind belonging to a “one right church.” Episodes blend personal stories with broader discussions on grace, accountability, and the limits of tradition, aiming to help listeners question rigid denominational labels while focusing on a relationship with Jesus. A notable throughline is the tension between spiritual certainty and thoughtful examination of doctrine, leadership legitimacy, and community impact, with guests and hosts sharing candid experiences from within faith communities.
What stands out is a willingness to address hard topics—shame, exclusion, leadership transitions, and the ... more
