I left my first review ages ago, but felt the need to leave a new one after I listened to more episodes. And spoiler alert, it’s still 5-Stars all the way around. I can’t wear mascara when I listen this because I cry laughing every.single.time. I can’t with y’all.
I LOVE the Onthedoc podcast! Amarilys and Misty are absolutely hilarious — their chemistry, quick wit, and ability to turn even the most random things into comedy keeps me laughing every single episode. Their humor is the kind of humor that feels so natural and effortless, you can't help but feel like you're sitting at the table with them, chatting over coffee. Beyond the laughs, I genuinely enjoy the way they dive into documentaries with heart, honesty, and just the right amount of chaos. Wheth... more
This is hands down the BEST PODCAST EVER! My husband (who won't listen to any other podcasts) and I can be found laughing out loud, discussing meaningful issues and saying everyday that we would be best friends if we knew these amazing ladies in real life. P.S. we have an adult college graduate child on the spectrum and find truth and inspiration from the personal anecdotes on the podcast. Our favorite part of every episode is just hearing the catch up chats and giggles!
Amarilys and Misty have lighter takes on popular documentaries. The Shari Papini episode is a must-listen~laughs guaranteed!
All the best to you both and I wish you further success!
This podcast is the best and like an evening with besties. I’m so thankful that Amarilys is still with us and we will continue to keep good thoughts and strong prayers for you and your loved ones. Can’t wait to have y’all back on the reg On The Doc. Misty, thank you for keeping us up to date.

Two hosts discuss a wide range of documentaries and real-life stories with a light, humorous spin. Episodes mix deep dives into complex subjects—mental health, crime, missing persons, and cultural phenomena—with candid banter, personal anecdotes, and relatable viewpoints. The chemistry between the hosts is a signature draw, helping listeners feel like they're chatting with friends while choosing which docs to watch next. A few episodes lean into nostalgia or travel-adventure vibes, but the core is thoughtful yet entertaining commentary on compelling real-world stories.
