  • A true leader

Kris came up in my algorithm over a year ago & I’ve admired his approach to teaching through personal experiences. His bravery and vulnerability are compelling, but he also provides data and is careful not to provide misinformation, so it makes it easy to trust what he says. I followed him to the Find Out podcast and was bummed when he was absent during those episodes, so I was thrilled to learn he started this podcast! While the actionable ideas are awesome, my favorite part of his show are the... more

  • Info and action, not just talk

I found Kris on instagram one day, right before the find out podcast started. Becoming a fan there led me to “On Offense” and I’m learning so much from this show! What I love most is how he ends by asking his guests what they suggest the rest of us average citizens do to go on offense. In a world of rage bait I find getting actual advise on how to take action to be a balm to my aching soul. Fan for life!

The Courts vs. DHS: ICE, Executive Power & the Rule of Law | Chris Geidner
Q: Can you help my audience understand why people should care about refugees and what's at stake in this case specifically?
The refugee program exists to protect those fleeing persecution, and the current interpretations threaten the core promise of safety and due process; court orders and independent oversight are essential to ensuring that the government follows the law and that people aren't unjustly detained or expelled, especially when the policy shifts appear to be driven by executive power rather than by Congress or established procedures.
How to Use Local Power Against Authoritarianism with Christopher Armitage
Q: Can you explain your theory behind how states can fight back against ICE?
The theory is that states should enforce existing laws against these federal agents and hold them accountable for their actions.
What to Do When Hate Comes to Main Street (with Phil Williams)
Q: What is it that people can do to go on offense against the forces of hate, against fascism, in their communities or nationally?
Phil emphasizes the importance of amplifying messages from those in the front lines and being aware of local politics.
