This particular episode seems to be very inaccurate. For example: they had to hurry up and get dressed and make their beds. This makes it sound like they had changes of clean clothes, pillows and blankets. I don't believe that was the case. Also, to call what they were served "a meal" seems grossly inappropriate. They were basically starving these prisoners.

A historically focused series exploring the Auschwitz complex, its expansion, and the memories surrounding expulsions, deportations, and postwar reconstruction. Episodes typically feature survivor testimonies, museum researchers, and educators who contextualize the atrocities, the local impact on nearby towns, and the broader history of Nazi-occupied Poland. The program often highlights personal narratives, archival analysis, and attempts to connect past events to present-day memory work and education. Noteworthy is the consistent use of survivor accounts and expert voices to illuminate complex historical processes, including forced relocations, transport histories, and the role of memory institutions in teaching future generations.
