I have been a fan of Joseph Scrimshaw for sometime now from ForceCenterPod but recently took the opportunity to start listening to Obsessed with Joseph and Sara and I’m hooked. Their most recent episode on going to the movies had me laughing, smiling and, at times, agreeing out loud during a recent walk. I really appreciate the way Joseph and Sara approach topics with a personal, thoughtful and respectful manner. Highly recommend this podcast!
The ukulele compels me ... even when the topic is something I'm not personally invested in, the enthusiasm and knowledge of the guests usually wins me over and I learn something new every time. The humour aspect of the show is also greatly appreciated, I like Scrimshaw's stand-up a lot, and he's a big part of what makes this work, and the chemistry he generates with his assorted experts.
This podcast is really fun for the interesting and wide array of topics it tackles, but the main core of it is Jospeh Scrimshaw himself. He’s funny and clever. He’s very good at interviewing and drawing his guests out, while making it sound more like a conversation than a Q&A or traditional interview. His wife Sara is a common guest and she is delightful as well. Highly recommend.
Just an all around good podcast that will make you laugh and gets me though my overnight shift at work. Good topics, good guests, and all around great time.
It's always a joy to listen to someone discuss enthusiastically their own favorite subject, and in each episode Joseph and Sarah Scrimshaw allow their guests, and sometimes themselves, to do just that.
