  • Such a pity that they didn't have enough time for him to finish reading his story. It was so engaging. What a unique perspective. How a great playwright is also a great prose writer and a wonderful storyteller is of course, no surprise.

  • I'm sorry but I found Denise so frustrating. She kept cutting Andrew off, even when the question wasn't for her. She would barely allow him to finish a sentence. It was so agitating that I could barely continue listening to the interview.

  • Where’re the working class voices?

I listened to 10 of these pods in a row. Not one person sounded like me, or the people I know. There’s nothing ‘National’ about this theatre.

  • Great content but occasionally poor sound quality

Absolutely every podcast episode is chock full of interesting dramaturgical information and has been a fantastic learning tool for discussing theatre critically. The sound quality can often times be very poor, which is frustrating when I want to hear every juicy tidbit. These episodes are often recorded on stage for a talk back with a live audience, so I’m not sure if that issue will ever be remedied.
