It really needs to improve audio quality recording. It’s terrible when listening on headphones

  • An Aussie take on audio.

Informative, interesting and surprisingly witty, especially considering some of the intellectual horsepower that the designers and manufacturers interviewed bring to the fore, not withstanding Andrew and Brad’s own respective brands and efforts.

I look forward to each episode.

  • Ever heard of a compressor plugin?

Dynamic range is very important in music but in talk radio it is not good! I went from barely being able to hear you to my speakers rattling a whole bunch many many times. Just a heads up. I do like the content though hence the 4 stars :)

Ribbon vs Dome Tweeters? ProAc Explains the Real Difference. 50 Years of UK HiFi #48
Q: What do you see as the benefits of keeping production in-house rather than outsourcing?
In-house production gives complete design control, strict quality assurance, and ensures every order is built to exact specifications, with continuous hands-on supervision from start to finish.
Plinius NEW HiFi Streaming Integrated Amp only $5K AUD?
Q: Is there an app to control the Inspire 100, or is it controlled only by the remote and built-in interfaces?
Yes, there is an app, but setup uses a dedicated remote for daily operation; the app is used primarily during setup and for optional control through streaming services like Spotify and Tidal Connect.
Plinius NEW HiFi Streaming Integrated Amp only $5K AUD?
Q: Why the smaller footprint for the Inspire 100?
The smaller footprint was driven by the constraints of using SMT production, the desire to retain the same radiused front design, and the aim to fit the product into modern rack spaces while maintaining robust heat management and finish quality.
Plinius NEW HiFi Streaming Integrated Amp only $5K AUD?
Q: What will the Inspire 100 retail for, and how did you arrive at that price?
We expect it to retail at about five grand, which surprised us given the product's complexity and manufacturing quality, but it aligns with the market positioning of a compact, feature-rich streaming amplifier that still carries Plinius' premium build.
Ribbon vs Dome Tweeters? ProAc Explains the Real Difference. 50 Years of UK HiFi
Q: Do you still offer both models with ribbon and dome tweeters?
Zoe confirms that ProAc continues to design models with both tweeter options based on customer demands for differing audio experiences.
