  • Laboured

I used to like some of the clips Rosie did on Twitter, but the comedy is soooooooooooooo laboured. I listened a few times, but decided I’d heard more than enough. It sounds like it’s improvised, and they hit an obvious joke, then just labour it until my eyes are glazed over. Like a 6th form comedy project - possibly enough material for a good 5 minute sketch, but a whole episode is like getting stuck in a conversation with your retired neighbour.

  • Unbelievable

Hoping to hear intelligent satire and skewering of poor political thought. Instead I heard inane unfunny babbling. No idea where the hype has come from.

Buy A Trip To The USA, Get A Flight To Rwanda Free!
Q: Basically, you young people, you're not saving for pensions, are you?
Milly Young explains that while saving isn't always prioritized due to costs of living, she does try to save some money but finds it difficult, especially with everyday expenses.
Too Many Humans
Q: What is the role of platforming and media manipulation in modern influence?
The discussion centers on how individuals and brands use media appearances to gain attention, with the guest Andy Bankside framing platforming as a means to amplify his message, regardless of content, which sparks a deeper conversation about responsibility and audience impact.
Too Many Humans
Q: Are televised political debates helpful to politics?
The hosts and guests express mixed views, acknowledging the debates as a useful venue for airing opinions while also critiquing the performative violence of applause and the potential for sensationalism to overshadow policy.
No BODY Once Told Him The World Was Gonna Roll Him
Q: Prime Minister, what do you think about the Mandelson affair and the vetting controversy?
The Prime Minister character shrugs off the vetting issues, insisting he was told nothing and that decisions were made without his full awareness, which is used for comic effect to critique information gaps in leadership.
Into The ManoCube
Q: What is the underlying idea behind the pink outfits and protest pins, and how does it translate into political strategy?
The idea is to use subtle, coordinated visual signals as a non-violent, high-visibility form of protest that can influence perception and pressure, especially in high-stakes political environments.
