If you only listen to one board game podcast, this is the one. I listen to many to come to this conclusion.
Efka and Elaine always bring smart and grounded thoughts to the table and their integrity as reviewers are second to none (their commitment to reviewer independence goes well into the realm of the supererogatory to use a fancy word). Their earthy wit and charm shines in the unscripted format making their podcast even better than their excellent YouTube material.
Love these guys, really find their viewpoint interesting, especially looking at boardgames through a sustainability and historical lens.
Excellent podcast about boardgames. Even the adjacent stuff is interesting. The two hosts always have inspiring views on games and are very good at sharing them. I even watched a couple of their NPI videos even though I don’t like YouTube.
