Jake Kastleman’s podcast may help you get out of a porn addiction. If so, great! But it didn’t work for me.
I listened to this podcast for a solid 6 months in 2024. Took notes. I tried to turn the ideas into a recovery plan. I would inevitably relapse. This didn’t work for me. What did work for me was the Beyond Compulsion Academy. I wish somebody had of told me about the BCA earlier. So, if this podcast doesn’t work, look up Beyond Compulsion Academy. It likely will.
From the moment any episode begins we are provided a sense that victory is in our future! Jake amazingly doesn’t confuse poetry with practical steps. Instead he beautifully communicates solid, moving, reverent help. I am victorious over lust, and repeatedly return to this show like an athlete returns to his Gatorade cooler on a hot day.
Podcast brings truth about porn addiction and how to stop the desire for it by uprooting where it started.

I am very happy I found this podcast. I feel like there is so much out there from people who don’t understand sexual addiction, but this guy really gets it. Thanks for the stuff you shared about “dopamine dumps” or whatever. That has really changed my perspective on my behavior and what I need to do to change.
