But through deep healing, transformation, and a relentless pursuit of something better, we didn’t just save our marriage—we created something more beautiful than we ever imagined. On our journey, we realized that the convent... more

I formerly said this is APSATS it’s not. The shame levers being setup will cause someone with deep complex addiction to see this as a pass fail. Recovery isn’t a pass fail it’s the process of sanctification.
Go see Christian truama informed therapists that are CSATS or APSAT.
Redemptive living, pure desire, affair recovery are better.
For months after the exposure of my husbands addiction, I didnt know how to say what I was feeling and what I wanted our marriage to look like in order to stay and move on. Until I heard Caitlyn describe exactly what I was thinking and feeling. I didn’t want to struggle the rest of my life knowing my husband wanted other women or fantasized about them.
Our lives have completely changed for the better thanks to the podcast, the app and all the guidance given.
Brandon seems to be doing fairly well on short-form social media platforms - mostly because the Doerksens’ knowledge of counseling and therapy (both of which they disparage, despite doing couple’s counseling for all of season 3 lol) is about as deep as a kiddie pool.
Expect to hear the same MAHA-lite advice repeated ad nauseam for three seasons: take down your TV, get off social media, go to sleep when the sun goes down, get outside and sit in the sunlight, etc. It’s a wonder people pay for th... more
I really appreciate this podcast because of the honesty Brandon and Caitlyn have in such a public form - and to be open about healing their marriage from betrayal trauma is a super vulnerable thing to share… AND the fact that they found a path that worked for them is so awesome to hear - AND you can get a lot from…. But NOT every couple is built this way. Not every wife should have to bare the entire responsibility of helping their husband process his story and addiction… although I will say rad... more
My title says it: Proceed with caution if you chose to listen. These guys are scamming on vulnerable people. Please pray if you chose to listen. This podcast starts off with episode one being promising and even sounding Christian. They have Christian backgrounds. The husband was in ministry. They say they’re here to tell their story, and share what worked for them as a couple overcoming their issues. They share grievances they’ve had with the church. Slowly it actually becomes them promising to ... more
