  • A real treat for ears

What’s as exciting as a new season of Yellowjackets? Why a new season on No Book Club, of course. These three chaps have the best witty banter. Their discussions are insightful and their differing perspectives only add to this. This is a necessary adjunct to a full Yellowjackets experience.

  • Great show!

I am listening to your podcast about Qui and I think the layout of the symbol at Lottie’s wellness center was consciously made by Lottie since she makes her followers wear the symbol around their necks, though I don’t think this is empathized as much as it was at the season one finale, etc. The more I think about it, the more I think Jeff has done a lot to cause all the chaos. He cheated on Jackie, knocked Shauna up and then started the blackmail with the symbol. I can’t believe Shauna’s husb... more

  • Had to knock a few stars off.

This was a solid 4 star show. However the guest on the Script episode was so awful and so obnoxious I l’ve downgraded this show the bottom of my ever-growing Yellowjackets podcast pile.

  • I like this podcast a lot. They have a lot of the same insights as I did, which is really all I want in a recap podcast. They aren't pretentious. Also, they're the ages of the 2021 characters, like me, so I'm delighted to not have to put up with zoomers or young millennial podcasters who don't know what they're talking about in terms of the 1996 storyline.

  • This is not LOST

Overall an interesting and thought-provoking pod about a show I really like. But I tire of the constant comparisons to LOST, a show I did not watch. I will keep listening for their insight but wish there was less time spent in scene by scene summary and more discussion of themes. Some things seem lost in translation due to cultural references - I am in the US. I also wish there was at least one female perspective in this book club talking about a show that is mostly about women. And guys, it’s p... more

  • Good, but inconsistent

Enjoying the show but they’re inconsistent with the hosts. It’s a different combination of three hosts and the vibe and dynamic shifts considerably. One guy in particular is someone dry and a bit of a downer and it doesn’t gel. Overall it’s good.
