Madeline is much too much of an armchair quarterback. Her comments continuously undermine police, police tactics and efforts is ridiculous. She had no concept of the policy, procedure, effort or logic that is needed to run a major investigation. She talks out her rear end. Time for a change Jordan.

I enjoy this podcast, but Madeline definitely brings the calibre of Jordan’s work down. This was especially evident in the Parker Wells episode where she made some sweeping generalizations about childcare and even Albertans. When she’s not making ignorant generalizations, she’s mainly just saying things like, “I never thought of that’ or something along those lines. I’m a long time listener, but Madeline continues to undermine Jordan’s legitimacy. She clearly doesn’t prepare, makes unsubstantiated comment (ie about funding in childcare, how “easy” it is to release an alert) without anything to back it up. I’m sure they’re friends, but he has to cut her loose.

I just adore this podcast. Somehow they keep all the topics light yet respectful, from Keep Canada Weird to true crime and even the global animal uprising! Canadian Gothic has also presented the single best coverage of the case of the missing children Jack and Lily Sullivan to date. I’m addicted to Cove soda thanks to this podcast. Keep it up! Can’t wait till episode 307, the area code for the entire state of Wyoming.
