  • It seems odd

That a podcast dedicated to solving crimes like this requires you to pay money to listen to it. I realize you have to make money too but still..

  • I hope you give the other perspectives

I’m currently listening to the episode with the RCMP officer and there’s a lot of gaps in the story about why the police are no longer trusted and why the courts no longer take police at their word. It would be helpful to have another perspective like Crown Counsel or a Defence Lawyer (not Kyla Lee). Also, he gave several incorrect pieces of information on the actual law. This is why police should not give legal advice. But right now it seems like a very biased podcast framing things incorrectly... more

People deciding what, where, when, who and why had taken place, without a clue as to what they’re talking about! The truth... more

Brooke discovered that the police were slow to act and showed little urgency in investigating her father's disappearance, causing her to feel disheartened and determined to take the investigation into her own hands.
Q&A with your hosts Caitlin & Graeme!
Q: How do you both emotionally manage the information that you're hearing?
They emphasize self-care by engaging in activities like walking, yoga, and gaming, and also discuss the importance of emotional compartmentalization when working with victims' families.
Q&A with your hosts Caitlin & Graeme!
Q: What case got you hooked on True Crime?
Graeme mentioned the Darren Hineman case, while Caitlin talked about the impact of the police search at the William Pickton farm when she was a young person.
Q&A with your hosts Caitlin & Graeme!
Q: What did you two do career-wise before embarking on the podcast during COVID?
Caitlin worked in the film industry for about a decade before starting the podcast, and Graeme was a film and TV actor for about 20 years, also working as an addictions counselor and a restorative justice facilitator.
Stephanie Donnelly
Q: As police chief, how concerning is it to you that the suspect was out on a day pass from a local psychiatric facility and able to essentially crash a community event and stab three strangers?
It's very concerning. It's terrible. But I have to frame it that we have to remember that there are many people in communities suffering from mental health issues. The vast majority of people in community with mental health issues don't have any interaction with the police whatsoever.
