The co host just says the obvious and seldomly says anything insightful. Should the podcast be just the main host it would be one of the best in Canada.
The co host tries to add some sort of progressive outlook to the show but has the in depth analysis of someone who just finished a year one university course on race relations. He might think he has some sort of perspective as he is queer, but it never adds to the podcast.
The review saying you were not woke is the whole reason I’m going to listen. To be woke is to be a joke. Woke means constantly offended, miserable, unfunny, delusional, low IQ and they wear their “be kind” gear while being the worst humans on the planet. Clowns really. Lame ducks.
Excellent and actually keeps me interested. Great job! RIP steve! See you on the other side of the dark rainbow ✌️
There’s a handful of different podcasts I listen to regularly with hosts and topics I like. What keeps me coming back to Dark Poutine is the sincerity, reverence and humble attitude that emanate from both Mike and Matthew when discussing true crime, with some appropriate and well timed humour thrown. A well researched podcast delivered with the same comfort you’d have listening to a friend over a hot drink at your local coffee shop. Well done!
An entertaining retelling of true Canadian crime stories. Mild humour without poking fun at any victims of crime. I am only on episode four, but I’m going to listen to every one. To all those involved in the production of this podcast, keep up the great work.
Update: I’m now only two episodes away from the whole library for Dark Poutine’s true crime stories. Top notch show!
