  • Having just listened to Jennifer Parker's very open and refreshingly transparent assessment of where Australia's navy is predicting its future direction and why i must say its hard to find any flaws in her arguments, its very reassuring to hear young intelligent future leaders of our armed forces getting on with the business of planning to be successful in our actions as opposed to the overtly self defeating penitent witch hunts our army seems obliged to inflict on itself at every opportunity

  • Just improved a LOT

The quiz has arrived to this podcast, thus rocketing it up to my top 3 pods. Damn well done you lot. Other than that, if there’s a topic in which I have no interest, I can quite easily skip it. Seems simple to me.

  • Nightlife with Phil Clark

I listen daily but have to shut it off from all the anti American and hate comments from Phil Clark. He suffers from Trump derangement syndrome.

Funny how a lefty can get away from spreading lies and hate speech and be on a national radio station.

Phil regularly pokes fun of anything from the USA but half of his program revolves around USA. Between local events the mighty challenge it 50% USA.

Daily comments about how stupid Americans are via language, geography etc., but Phil constantly sa... more

  • There is no "Arabian Gulf." Look at the history books, and you'll see that there has only ever been the Persian Gulf. However, due to the weak performance of the Iranian regime after 1979, some ill-informed individuals have ignored history and adopted the fabricated term "Arabian Gulf."

Q: Will discretionary trusts still offer asset protection under the new rules?
Discretionary trusts may continue to offer asset protection, but the changes push more income into the beneficiaries and reduce the flexibility to adapt distributions; fixed trusts remove some asset-protection benefits, so many rely on discretionary structures to maintain protections.

How Darian Sahanaja helped Brian Wilson finish the Beach Boys’ unfinished album Smile
Q: How did you become involved in finishing Smile with Brian Wilson?
Darian describes meeting Brian after a Brian Wilson Tribute show, joining as a backing musician for Brian's live performances, and later participating in the process that brought Smile to completion with Van Dyke Parks, culminating in the 2004 London performances and recording the show for release.
How Darian Sahanaja helped Brian Wilson finish the Beach Boys’ unfinished album Smile
Q: Can you tell us the story of the Smile album for people who might not know about it?
Darian outlines Smile as Brian Wilson's ambitious, cutting-edge project following Pet Sounds, which was left unfinished due to pressure and Brian's personal struggles; the project was revived in the early 2000s through a collaborative process that gradually reconnected Brian with the material, leading to a successful 2004 debut and subsequent performances.
