  • TB transmission via Milk

I am somewhat dismayed that the recent podcast on TB failed to mention transmission via milk, from cows to humans. The reason the UK was able to dramatically reduce the incidence of TB in the past was the introduction of pasteurization. The fad of preferring unpasteurized milk (based on possible health/taste benefits) is increasing the likelihood of TB transmission yet again and any scientific broadcast about TB should be talking about it.
