  • EJ

Just wondering if EJ is gonna continue to be a commentator for the NHL network, or trying to be a play-by-play announcer for NHL games as a broadcast and sits in the NHL Studios in New Jersey when there’s a game in Toronto Los Angeles, Seattle, Utah Boston. It don’t work EJ Reddick has no clue how to be a color commentator or a play-by-play guy. He sucks stick with what you do best.

Shawn is the WORST. Having an opinion and being a contrarian aren’t the same thing.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Eddie Olczyk joins; MTL Edges BUF in 7, Conference Finals Preview, EDM Fires Knoblauch
Q: So what impresses you about the way Marty St. Louis coaches?
Eddie Olczyk highlights St. Louis's feel for what players need, his willingness to ride lines as needed, and his ability to rotate defensemen and forwards effectively while maintaining a strong bench mindset, which translates into dynamic in-game adjustments that keep Montreal competitive.
Martin Biron joins; Playoff Hockey Returns to Buffalo, First round storylines
Q: Marty, thanks for joining us. What's it going to take here for the Buffalo Sabres to win this round?
Buffalo needs to maintain offensive pressure in the Sabres' strong zones, manage Boston's neutral-zone trap, and rely on goaltending that can minimize the high-danger chances while finding moments to push counterattacks and transition quickly.
Craig Button & Mike Zeisberger join; Stanley Cup Playoffs 1st Round, NJD Hires Mehta as GM
Q: Where do you think this series can go, goes from here?
Button predicts a seven-game, highly competitive series given the talent on both sides and the adjustments teams will make, especially in net and in-depth matchups, suggesting it could go to a decisive game seven.
Chris Pronger joins; TOR Fires Treliving, VGK Hires Tortorella, Playoff Chase, Ovi Nets 30 Again
Q: What about the Toronto situation—what would a new GM need to do quickly to stabilize the franchise?
Pronger points to culture starting in the locker room, challenge points about the core, and the necessity of aligning long-term vision with the players in the room, including tough conversations with players who have no-move clauses.
Chris Pronger joins; TOR Fires Treliving, VGK Hires Tortorella, Playoff Chase, Ovi Nets 30 Again
Q: Number one, what did you think when you saw the Vegas coaching move to Tortorella, and can he get them back to a playoff brand of hockey?
Pronger responds that a fresh voice can help but emphasizes the need for a clear plan and leadership from the players; he notes this isn't about a dramatic culture overhaul but about driving performance and starting strong in games.
