I had to do a double take and make sure I wasn't hearing Sen Ted Cruz (ultimate blowhard DB) doing this podcast. I don't understand why NFL senior writer Andrew Lavey would take as inspiration for his talking "affect" (affect, verb: to use pretentiously as to make an impression on others) Ted Cruz.
