  • Thoughtful podcast for global geo-politics & alternative perspectives

Appreciate the diverse guest list, always hearing something new from someone new. Very European-heavy with some western. Not much from other continents (unfortunately, as they’re often on the receiving end of non-neutral policies) but brings light to non-MSM voices.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

🚨USA Plays for Time: Prepping Invasion, Gaming Markets, Loosing War | Larry C. Johnson
Q: What could a realistic scenario look like for the US ground troops and amphibious operations given the geographic and operational constraints?
He suggests that there is no clear objective present and that attempting an amphibious invasion would likely fail to achieve meaningful strategic goals, instead creating a vulnerable position with limited supply and high risk of failure.
🚨USA Plays for Time: Prepping Invasion, Gaming Markets, Loosing War | Larry C. Johnson
Q: What is your assessment of the past week or so of the Iran War, and especially the kind of very erratic ups and downs that are coming out of the White House?
The guest argues that there is no coherent strategy and that the rhetoric and market manipulations are creating instability; conversations with Iran are through intermediaries, and there is skepticism about whether any end-state can be defined, increasing the risk of miscalculation.
Psychiatrist EXPOSES the Sickness of Collective West Leadership | Niall McLaren
Q: What can be done to curb mass violence and the domination impulse in societies?
Several avenues are discussed: increasing public knowledge to resist propaganda, considering structural changes like merit-based or randomized governance, and reframing narratives that glorify dominance to reduce the thrill of political rallies.
Psychiatrist EXPOSES the Sickness of Collective West Leadership | Niall McLaren
Q: Why is a psychiatrist actually so much interested in world politics?
McLaren explains that politics intersects with human psychology because the same drives that push individuals—dominance, competition, entitlement—operate at the level of nations, shaping international behavior and conflict.
Eurocrats Trying To KILL This German Journalist (with his Family) | HĂĽseyin Dogru
Q: And that then hit you without a trial, right? There's no trial, there's no hearing, you were never even warned?
Yes. Sanctions are described as extrajudicial punishment, with no court or hearing, placing the burden of proving innocence on him and creating a legal labyrinth where appeals exist but are financially and practically inaccessible, effectively bypassing due process.
