  • Thoughtful podcast for global geo-politics & alternative perspectives

Appreciate the diverse guest list, always hearing something new from someone new. Very European-heavy with some western. Not much from other continents (unfortunately, as they’re often on the receiving end of non-neutral policies) but brings light to non-MSM voices.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Algeria Keeps Defeating Europe. Macron Furious | Fethi
Q: What are the major milestones in the Algeria-France relationship that shaped the current dynamic?
Key milestones include colonization starting in 1832, the independence in 1962, the Evian Accords, the OAS challenges, and ongoing debates over reparations, memory, and political will in both countries; these shape perceptions and policies to this day.
Algeria Keeps Defeating Europe. Macron Furious | Fethi
Q: Where is Algeria today in its relationship with Europe and with France specifically?
The guest explains Algeria pursues non-alignment and sovereignty, maintains calm but tense ties with France, and views ongoing crises as rooted in historical memory and elite politics, with a desire for more balanced engagement built on mutual respect and recognition of the past.
Slavery Vote EXPOSES West's True Intentions | Evarist Bartolo
Q: What could a restructured international order look like according to your view?
A more multipolar system where unequal relationships are replaced by genuine cooperation, with the General Assembly gaining more authority and new economic and political alignments reducing dependence on traditional Western powers.
Slavery Vote EXPOSES West's True Intentions | Evarist Bartolo
Q: What is your take on this resolution and its implications for Africa and the former colonies?
The resolution exposes the present-day power dynamics and the West's reluctance to confront its colonial past, urging a move toward an equal partnership with Africa and a rethinking of how reparations and artifacts are addressed.
Scientist Confirms Iran Is Unbeatable | Dr. Patrick Ringgenberg
Q: How do internal factions influence Iran's foreign and domestic policy?
There are clear divisions between reformists, pragmatists, conservatives, and hardliners; in war times unity against a common threat tends to override differences, but once the crisis subsides, debates about normalizing relations and strategic alignment will re-emerge and shape future policy.
