  • Such a great show

High-level, intelligent conversations that everyone should hear. You’ll learn more about how world events are unfolding by listening to Glenn Diesen for one week than you’ll learn in 5 years of cable news consumption. And I’ve never heard a single advertisement! It’s incredible. It’s almost like he’s doing this show for the right reasons or something.

  • The whole truth?

I appreciate the less well publicized opinions shared. But I can’t understand why Professor Marandi never gets challenged on how the Iran government has terrorized its citizens. He makes a lot of good points about the actions of the US but paints an incomplete (and overly rosy) picture of the Iranian regime. Let’s do truth but not selectively.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Jeffrey Sachs: Germany Is Leading Europe Toward World War III
Q: Why did you write a second open letter to Chancellor Merz?
The letter reflects an urgent concern that diplomacy is breaking down and that Germany, as a leading European power, has a historic and practical responsibility to prevent a dangerous drift toward war by re-engaging with Russia and pushing for candid, transparent dialogue.
Larry Johnson: Iran Abandons Talks & Threatens to Retaliate Against Israel
Q: So what do you think is the significance of Iran walking away from these talks?
It signals a clear breaking point; if the United States remains unserious or inflexible, Iran will not stay bound to this diplomatic track and may pursue leverage through threats or actions, potentially reshaping regional security dynamics.
Stanislav Krapivnik: Kiev Attacked, Frontlines Fall & Belarus Enters War?
Q: How do you see Russia moving up the escalation ladder now after the latest strikes on Kiev?
Russia is depicted as escalating decisively but with a preference for conventional, non-nuclear means to send a message. The guest suggests Moscow is shifting mood and NATO involvement has to be understood as a direct combatant posture in practice, which justifies stronger retaliation and reduced restraint.
Seyed M. Marandi: Iran-Israel Strikes, Trump Humiliated & Yemen Restricts Red Sea Access
Q: Is the relationship between the US and Israel simply theatre, or is there something deeper at play influencing policy during these attacks?
There are signs of a coordinated but complex dynamic where US support and messaging sometimes appear performative, yet the underlying strategic alignment with Israel remains significant, even as political pressure and public narratives shift.
Seyed M. Marandi: Iran-Israel Strikes, Trump Humiliated & Yemen Restricts Red Sea Access
Q: How do you see the current posture of Iran in this escalation, and what changes have you observed in their deterrence strategy?
Iran has clearly expanded its deterrence to openly target not only Israel but also in support of Lebanon, signaling that if there is continued aggression, Iran is prepared to retaliate decisively and broaden the scope of targets beyond immediate borders.
