Could be a solid podcast, but the excessive, nonsensical, and often unrelated banter, ruins it. Serious topics hosted by wannabe comedians.
I found Necro when someone recommended listening to their coverage of Maura Murray. When I first started listening I wasn’t sure it was my kind of podcast but the camaraderie between Mike, Dave, and Ian is fantastic. Ian’s giggle and narration, Dave’s impersonations and humor, and Mike’s humor and love of food got me addicted. I have been going back through the archives and listening to older episodes and love it! So much so that I became a patron. I listen at work (on my Air Pods…) and find mys... more
If you like true crime podcasts of the likes of Last Podcast on the Left, then you’ll certainly like this one. The formula is very similar; three middle aged dudes chopping it up about all things creepy, disturbing, haunting, infuriating, and hilarious. While it’s adjacent to several others, it’s the personalities and humor that will keep you coming back for more; even if you’ve heard others cover the same people and incidents before. It’s a fresh and delightful take on true crime and ufology st... more
Really like the personalities and research is strong. Seems like guys I could easily get along with, though it is a lot of the same jokes on repeat… Brittany Spears, Casey Anthony, the Matrix… I have found myself forwarding through some of the same bits they seem to default to. The humor and distinct hosts make it worth it. Recommend.
I truly love this podcast. I love the cringe jokes they make I’m sorry but they’re funny and I’m here for it. There aren’t many podcasts that truly say whatever they want and I love Mike and Dave for that. If you’re easily offended then just leave we don’t want you anyways 😂
