This podcast has been a staple of the various ones I listen to ever since I found it a few years ago! It’s so much fun to listen to them talk about drink history, ingredients, bar culture, just all these facets that go into why and how we drink. And I barely even drink any more after coming out! Thank you Teylor for inspiring me.
While one host seems to know a bit about the history of alcohol they just sounds like 2 drunks at the end of the bar. The only reason why I can think this podcast gets such high ratings is because there are a lot of people like listening to the two drunks rambling at the end of the bar. While it’s not an issue that they’re clearly drunk, they have little to no knowledge about what they’re talking about. I first listened to Neat after Mike and Tommy put the pin in Court Appointed and I missed Tommy’s humour. I didn’t think a show about something I rarely consume would resonate much. But damn, Teylor finds some great facts and their passion for all thing bartending has me so invested. more
