Everything about this podcast works so well: Jo and Kathy’s voices, the easy way of conversation between them and their guests, the excellent production, the interesting and deeply sensitive and informed handling of their topics, and the sense of space and wonder this all lends to the listening experience. One of the best podcasts going. So happy to be part of its listener community!
This podcast series is a rather recent and treasured discovery, the pace is slooow, calm and measured rather like nature herself. There’s wise informative chat between the hosts interspersed with soundscape recordings that allows the mind to just drift into the topic and sit. ta v much ✌️

What’s not to love about Jo and Cathy’s Nature Tripping podcasts? High quality outdoor recordings, interesting and relevant content for today’s world, conversationally delivered, sensitively and knowledgeably exploring environmental issues and the impact on humanity and our fauna and flora. Despite the seriousness of the subject matter, I really like this as late evening listening - it’s got a curiously relaxing and meditative vibe. The insect recordings on Tiree are lush. Thank you!
After listening to this lovely podcast I feel so much more connected to nature and more knowledgable about bees - I didn’t know there were so many different types let alone how to identify them or what influences their ability to survive in our changing world. Thank you for a happy 45 mins of listening time 🙂
