Daphne Caruana Galizia spent her career uncovering corruption at the highest levels of politics on the Mediterranean island of Malta. She endured arson attacks and arrests, until October 2017, when she... more

I have never written a comment before, but I was blown away by the beautiful journalism in this podcast. Paul captures the most intricate moments that highlight the beauty, tragedy and power of his mother and this story. Hearing his brother speak through the car bomb explosion in EP2 was absolutely breathtakingly painful.
Amazing journalism from Paul, Daphne’s son. What happened to Daphne was shocking and all with state involvement?! I really hope that working on this podcast has brought Paul some satisfaction in knowing that more of us know about his brilliant mother and her powerful truth telling journalism.
This is a beautifully written and considered insight into the journalists Mother, assassinated Maltese journalist, Daphne. I can’t imagine how difficult this journey must have been for him, but it’s an incredible story, and so well done. A tribute to the courageous Daphne.
