Pt.1? Lazy editing? Poor time management? Will there even be a Pt.2? God knows. All I know for sure is that this episode demonstrates our flair for waffle.
Just like Bono and Cook, Alex and Dan are gracing you with this episode entirely for free! Available to everyone in the entire world on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, You better listen!
The first of a series of lovers tiffs between the boys. Sparks fly and laughter ensues... Enjoy!
The first wildcard of the season is an opportunity to reflect on the season so far. Alex's first WILD! choice sees Jack Larsen pushing the boundaries of 21st century pop.
In the middle of a sea of rock albums, the boys find solace on an island of trippy trap beats and songs about drugs and bad b*tches. They earned it.
Will the endorsement of America's coolest President be enough to convince the boys that this deserves a place on the list? Will Dan pronounce his name correctly? Will Alex say braggadocios? Listen and find out...
A Very hungover and extremely flaggy pair of men tackle the epitome of 2010's Trap music. Birdman, Young Thug, and Rich Homie Quan blow our damaged minds with their legendary mixtape that never saw a Pt.2.
John Prine's penultimate album is a far stretch from its gloomy cover art. Instead of preaching us his life lessons, John takes us down fond memory lanes and invites us to the pub for Gin and cigarettes. We're coming John.
Very funny and entertaining!! Never a dull moment.. But who would win in a drunken fight? Iles or Bennet?????
These 2 are on another level. If you think Anthony Fantano knows music, then you are in for an eye opening encounter!

Very nice
If you listen to one podcast about the Rolling Stones top 100 albums- let it be this one! Great podcast that’s funny and interesting:)
Love this podcast. The banter, the analysis the chemistry - for me the hosts are a millennial reincarnation of popular tv hosts ant and dec.
Smashing it so far, keep up the good work!
Great podcast and super easy to listen
Easy and fun to listen to two friends with a real passion for music chat through this list, lots of laughs and interesting conversation. Can’t wait for the next episodes!
This pod islittered with humour and insight. It's great fun exloring new and old music simultaneously with the hosts. Highly recomended!
Love this podcast, watch your heels fantano!
Funny podcast and really interesting to see how they navigate their homoerotic tension
This is a really great idea for a pod. It’s as insightful as it hilarious and a great listen for anyone that loves music (specifically music ranking lists!). I look forward to expanding my musical horizons along the way with this pod as the rolling stone top 100 has some questionable inclusions (i.e. Taylor Swift at 99?!). Love it Dan and Alex!
Wow just wow, honestly one of the best podcasts I’ve listened to in a long time. Really enjoyable with a seemingly loverly two lads. Never heard of “The Band” myself but loved the analysis, some real music enthusiasts who want to make good content. I couldn’t recommend more highly, a thrill to listen to and an honour to join the dark listed fantasy entourage. If you want to discover music that is highly rated get yourself here and forget about discover weekly. Can’t wait for the next one well do... more
A surprisingly original concept encompassing witty humour and great musical insight.
Look forward to the top 10 albums!
