The tough thing about the series finale of Lucifer is that we hate it, but we don't hate it. We leave our celestial characters, for the most part, grown and changed in an organic and positive way. Maze is finally her own person, Amenadiel has balance... more
On this week's podcast, we're discussing Maze and Eve's wedding and Linda's new book. The first man shows up to put a wrench in the ladies' plans, but he's dispatched with ease. Ella reveals her knowledge to team celestial in a move that really, genu... more
So, Chloe and Lucifer have a daughter. It's best if you don't question it, because the show is begging you not to. Lucifer and Chloe investigate the reasons Lucifer might take off and Lucifer later attempts to bond with Rory. In the second episode, A... more
This week on Lucifer, we're discussing season 6 episodes Yabba Dabba Do Me and Pin the Tail On the Daddy. Fair warning, the episode primarily focuses on the cartoons, hell loops and proper police procedure of the first episode and leaves Lucifer, Chl... more
Discovered this a couple years ago and this is probably my favorite podcast to listen to as the shows they’ve covered are some of my favorites and its just comforting, like sitting down with friends and chatting. I love all the tangents, random snippets about Wisconsin and LA and Alli and Mary’s perspective on shows and life in general. Thank you for continuing to make this podcast!
Lucifer is a great show and I wished I watched on fox first cause I enjoyed the early seasons but I love the Netflix seasons and Tom Ellis is perfect in this role. I disagree with you girls about taking choke side cause I hated what she did to him in season 4 and also she is lucky to have Lucifer. And the music and dance number are always fun not meh. Also season 6 was great and loved the it was a season 1 tribute. Anyway i don’t always agree with what both say and y’all could be annoying but I ... more
I too just found Lucifer on Netflix. I try not to watch anything on Fox, so I’m thrilled fans helped make the change.
Am absolutely obsessed with it. Binging and up to 5B and started with your podcast. Terrific! Even if I don’t always agree.
It’s a funny funny witty and actually thoughtful show. And yes, I do think Lucifer has adult ADHD. Which makes him so frustrating and yet so lovable at the same time.
Trying to catch up to you as I keep watching.
I wish I had known about the show during... more
Hi Ladies.
The motorcycle cop was in the first scene of season 1 (the Pilot) of Lucifer. . . . So it meant a lot actually. I agree the final season’s “trope” gave me a “sigh” as well, it is superseded by the character development and love the writers and actors gave to each episode and scene. The new character is the perfect mesh of the two characters, and although I wish they explained some of the end stuff, after listening to Ildy and Joe interviews, I feel much better about the differences/... more
I just found Lucifer on Netflix, I didn’t watch it when it was on Fox but I’m so glad I decided to binge it! It’s a great show, fun and a bit quirky. I went looking for some commentary on what’s happening and I found your podcast; great job breaking things down! I just listened to your prediction show for season 6 and I agree, it would be weird if Lucifer became God. I’m wondering if it’s more about living his life in the ‘image’ of God? Lucifer becoming more benevolent in his actions, especiall... more
