Beautifully done by two mommies who care.
I used to love this podcast, but I am DONE. First, while Amye and her co-hosts claim to be progressive, they completely lack the knowledge to discuss racial issues. Amye is a prime example of the problem of white feminism. She also suffers from white woman missing syndrome, as do her co-hosts. Until they decided to review the Worst Neighbor Ever, Amye has never covered a documentary or series involving a missing or murdered person of color. Little did they know the third episode would be based i... more
I came here to write a review about how much I enjoy listening to Amye and her co-hosts. But I can’t stop laughing seeing Jeff Lowe as a guest.
I love Amye and her voice and everyone else’s voice who joins as co-hosts. I love the humor intertwined with the coverage. I love the tangents-I love it so much I wish the episodes were even longer. Keep doing great work ❤️❤️ you are appreciated
I really enjoy the premise of the show and the true crime stories themselves. A warm, witty take on true crime docuseries and recap-style storytelling, delivered by a group of women who speak from a couch-side vantage point. Episodes mix thorough breakdowns of documentaries with candid reactions, personal anecdotes, and playful banter, highlighting pacing, narrative choices, and the human impact of cases. Listeners seem drawn to thoughtful analysis, accessible explanations of complex trials, and the sense of community among hosts who share life experience, humor, and a skeptical eye for sensationalism. A standout approach is the casual, conversational tone paired with sharp observations and a focus on victims and ethical storytelling, making it appealing to true crime fans who want both context and connection without... more
