I think her weird behavior is because she’s not that sad that he’s gone as opposed to her being guilty. I also think she’s so removed from their marriage being that she was unhappy and it’s been so long that she appears emotionless talking about it. My other theory is that she knows he was planning on hiding out in Costa Rica, so she’s not mourning his... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Should I Marry a Murderer? (Netflix, 2026) with Mary Payne from Pink Shade
Q: What did you think of the documentary's approach and the storytelling choices in Should I Marry a Murderer?
We both noted that the documentary was engaging but could benefit from tighter editing and clearer pacing, with particular attention to showing rather than telling in some sequences and a more explicit delineation of timelines.
Unsolved Mysteries V1:EP1 Mystery on the Rooftop (Netflix, 2020)
Q: What did you feel going into it before you did further research?
My initial thought is that Rey got in over his head. I think a lot of what his wife thought was something happened that he didn't mean to be a part of, and then something bad happened.
My Father, The BTK Killer (Netflix, 2025)
Q: What did you think of the documentary overall?
I found it underwhelming, with certain points glossed over that could have been explored more deeply.
My Father, The BTK Killer (Netflix, 2025)
Q: How much did you know about BTK?
I knew a bit, but this documentary presented new details I wasn't aware of.
Trophy Wife: Murder on Safari (HULU 2025)
Q: What was the final verdict against Larry Rudolph?
Larry was found guilty of murdering Bianca and defrauding insurance companies.
