I have a sister and listening to these two makes me feel like I’m chatting with my own sis! I love when you put out a new crime doc episode- my favorite! It’s a gift to hear from smart professionals. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication
I want to like this podcast. I understand there are limitations on what can be said, but most discussions feel surface-level. Whenever a topic is explored with more depth, it’s usually because a third person is present—like in the prison episode.
I’m genuinely surprised that two individuals who frequently reference their credentials often bring so little background knowledge to the table. Listeners know this is a business, but it’s frustrating to hear you express confusion over something like h... more
I really hope the hosts take the critiques of other reviewers and make some changes because I think people are spot-on in their criticism about this show. This is a lazy podcast where the hosts often don’t bother to actually check facts and never rewatch scenes to get clarifications. I’m just one person watching a show one time and I get information more often than these two people who are doing this for money. Also, I had hoped for more legal and mental health/counseling insight but rarely do t... more
I just attempted to listen to the episode about the Oklahoma City Bombing documentary and I couldn’t finish. I’ve never heard a tragedy discussed so flippantly. Laughing, chatting, speculating about things they should know. Asking questions they had no answers to. Discussing Waco when they had no business doing so without research. And the topper was claiming we didn’t have 24 hour news in 1995. They need to stick to Sister Wives and things that don’t have dead victims.
I listen, but the lack of knowledge re Sister Wives lore, and the seeming lack of motivation to find out is a bit irritating. Also the way they drift off during sentences makes me wonder if they haven’t put themselves to sleep sometimes. Hence, it’s good bedtime listening.
