  • Fantastic Variety!

This podcast, which fans of musical theatre will love, has always had a really great variety in the shows it covers. It’s not just the big hits, but there’s a good helping of some lesser known shows. They’ve introduced me to several I’d not heard of before! It’s hard not to laugh along with the hosts, as they react to some of the cheesier aspects of the genre, but this show is certainly coming from a place of love and enthusiasm. Bravo! P.S. I hope you end up covering some Gilbert and Sullivan!

  • Bridgerpoop

Maybe don’t review a musical that you don’t care for, of a tv show you absolutely hate without having not watch it. I couldn’t handle the misogyny of the two guys.

  • Self Satisfied Opinions

The hosts spend the majority of their time tearing apart a relatively harmless show, then contradicting their own opinions (criticising it for not changing the plot, then criticising it for changing things unnecessarily). They read positive reviews in a condecending way before writing them off as having no standards. Really not enjoyable and unnecessarily cruel.

  • The Diana Episode was Maddening to Me

I haven’t seen the musical Diana, so I don't take issue with the hosts’ opinion about that. Rather, I take issue with the lack of historical research and belittling of mental health. Within the first half of that episode, they show a severe lack of research about recent English royal history. There is also a severe lack of compassion, insinuating wealth and societal status means one can’t have mental health troubles. It was very upsetting and turned me off to listening to this show in the future... more

They bully one of their patrons for his quite frankly excellent taste in musicals
