  • A very cheesy podcast.

I like this show a lot and have listened for years, I do not like the rebrand that much because I personally enjoy musicals more, and think that it fits the format better, but the show still has the great chemistry from this trio, and it’s especially humorous when guests get involved. My only big problem is the swearing, I’m very much a prude when it comes to cuss words. But others won’t be bothered by it as much as me. Best part of the show is when they talk about that guy with the glasses. 4/5... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

BONUS: Atlantis: The Lost Empire the Musical (feat. Tammy Tuckey) - Make me a Musical #17
Q: How would Helga Sinclair function as a villain and would she have a musical number?
Helga Sinclair is recast as the sole villain who belts a dark, high-impact song late in the show, turning the narrative by revealing her true intentions and triggering the climactic crisis.
50 Shades of Grey (feat. Kate Sloan)
Q: Was there a preferred ending or alternative resolution discussed for the film?
Yes, there was talk that the ending could have included a scene where a safe word is ignored, but it was ultimately rejected by the author, with the hosts noting how that choice would alter the perception of the characters and kink dynamics.
50 Shades of Grey (feat. Kate Sloan)
Q: How do you compare the book to the film in terms of portrayal of kink and consent?
They argue that the film omits some inner reasoning from the book, but can still convey character dynamics; concerns about safe words and aftercare are raised, with some agreeing that the movie is less problematic but still far from ideal educational material.
50 Shades of Grey (feat. Kate Sloan)
Q: What is your history with 50 Shades of Grey?
The guests and hosts share early exposure to the book, discuss how it sparked interest in kink and BDSM, and contrast it with the movie adaptation, noting differences in tone, dialogue, and consent.
Bonus: Interview w/ Sarah Elizabeth Grace
Q: And what was your initial spark that led you to write this piece?
The idea grew from examining gendered power dynamics and personal experiences in New York, shaping a story that challenges traditional gender roles and pushes audiences to reflect on their own beliefs.
